M.A.S.Y. STATEMENT OF FAITH

1. We believe that the Bible is inspired by and is the inherent Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16)

2. We believe in the God of the Bible, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Three persons, one God. (1 John 5:7)

 

3. We believe that all are sinners (Romans 3:23) and that Jesus died on the cross for our sins in order to give us true life, (John 3:16) in order to live for His glory.  

(1 Thessalonians. 5:9-11)

 

4. We believe in the unity of the Church, in order to proclaim Christ and His truth. (John 13:35; Ephesians 4:1-6)

 

5. We believe that salvation and eternal life comes through Christ alone (John 14:6), we believe in imputed righteousness, and that Christ's perfection and righteousness was given to us through faith because of His work on the cross (Philippians 3:9; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Yet, we are continually walking in progressive sanctification with the Holy Spirit, for His glory (Galatians 5:24; Romans 6:19; Ezekiel 36:26-27).
